Professional Development

As service professionals we enter into the field for our own private reasons and from a human drive in us to understand and help others. However, in order to meet the needs of others, we need to undergo a life time of personal growth and professional development.

MASL is interested in supporting clinicians with professional development and in the expansion of clinical skills in the service of others. We approach professional development from a three tiered strategy consisting of clinical consultation, professional trainings, and through sharing of clinical tools and resources.

Professional Development.

Clinical Consultations.

MASL offers monthly consultation groups for clinicians. These take place virtually and involve case conceptualization and feedback on cases. The collaborative nature of group consultations allows for participants to gain from the perspective of other clinicians and offers a format for clinicians to learn from one another.

Professional Trainings.

MASL offers professional training opportunities for clinicians and other professionals in the human services. This includes offering of continuing education credits through both in-person as well as virtual formats.

Clinical Tools and Resources.

Join MASL at the professional level and have access to clinical tools and resources, including intake forms, conceptualization tools, interventions, and treatment strategies.
